Introduction

This course provides participants with knowledge and insights to support the development and effective application of a HACCP system based on prerequisite programs and principles of HACCP.

  • This course is a first and important steppingstone towards the full application of HACCP.
  • Suitable for those individuals who have some experience in the food supply chain.
  • The course caters for individuals who wish to develop their knowledge and insight in HACCP, connection with ISO 9001, ISO 22000 and FSSC 22000.
  • You may need this course if you work in the food sector and wish to understand the concept of HACCP and how to use HACCP in practical situations.
  • Note: The course is not sector-specific and is applicable to all sectors.

  • Individuals from the food chain looking to develop knowledge and insight regarding effective use of HACCP
  • You will have some experience of working in the food chain
  • Individuals wanting to develop themselves and have very limited knowledge of HACCP
  • Medium to large organisations with one or two people they want to develop to meet a specific improvement need
  • Organisations from the food chain with more than five delegates wanting to develop knowledge and skills regarding HACCP at an entry point level

    • Support the effective application of an existing HACCP system
    • Understand the importance of monitoring and response to deviations
    • Identify possibilities for improvement and provide feedback to the HACCP team
