With the development of the BIM Certification process, LRQA has partnered with a specialist organisation to help companies on their BIM certification journey.

In January 2020, our partner Excitech was acquired by Addnode Group, the owner of Symetri, Europe’s leading provider of software and services for design and engineering activities.  Excitech has now merged with Symetri and is operating under the Symetri brand name.

Symetri is a BIM consultancy, with extensive experience in providing training and technology solutions to the architectural, engineering and construction industries. They have joined forces with LRQA with the intention of working together to certify contractors, architects, designers and consultants/software systems providers against the requirements of BIM and ISO 19650.

Organisations who wish to develop their BIM capability and become ‘BIM ready’ with LRQA, will be supported by Symetri through training and GAP analysis against the BIM and ISO 19650 requirements.
