LRQA has announced the appointment of Francis Yang as Executive Vice President, Greater China, reinforcing the strategic importance of the region within the company’s global operations.
Francis joins LRQA with immediate effect, reporting directly to Ian Spaulding, CEO for LRQA, as a member of the Executive Leadership Team (ELT). This move marks the introduction of Greater China as a distinct operating region, bringing the total number of LRQA’s regions to five.
Greater China represents a significant growth opportunity within the assurance and risk management industry, with increasing demand for services that support business resilience, regulatory compliance and operational efficiency.
With nearly 30 years of experience in service-oriented industries, including finance, energy, manufacturing and construction, Francis brings extensive expertise in driving business growth and operational excellence. Most recently, she served as Senior Vice President, Industries, Greater China at Bureau Veritas, following leadership roles at Diebold Inc, a global provider of services, software, hardware and security, as well as Schneider Electric.
