LRQA has been recognised with the Service and Solutions Award at the prestigious regional World Energy Supply Chain Awards (WESCA).
Hosted by the Energy Industries Council (EIC), the event celebrates excellence within the energy supply chain, and LRQA is honoured to have won in the London - Service and Solutions category.
The award win stems from LRQA’s feature in the latest EIC Survive and Thrive report, which highlights the critical role of the supply chain in driving the global energy transition, shining a spotlight on innovation across areas such as technology, sustainability, services and solutions. LRQA used the report to introduce Assurance 4.0 – the new era of risk management – to the energy industry, which positioned us for this accolade.
The era of Assurance 4.0 is based upon three major global trends that define today’s business environment: Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) considerations, supply chain complexity and evolving cybersecurity threats.
As organisations try to meet this era head on, challenges have emerged that LRQA helps address through our data-driven insights and on-the-ground expertise. One challenge includes navigating the energy transition to achieve net zero.
This was the focus of our submission to the report and the World Energy Supply Chain Awards. LRQA’s Chief Commercial Officer, Stuart Kelly, and Head of Energy and Renewables – Global Accounts, Leanne Halliday, spoke at length about our role in supporting clients on this journey during their interview with the EIC.
Over the last two years, LRQA has delivered more than 600 renewable energy projects across 25 countries, demonstrating our leadership in the sector and commitment to the energy transition.
