Migrating to ISO 45001

In response to the challenges posed by COVID-19, the International Accreditation Forum (IAF) has extended the migration deadline for ISO 45001 certification. Existing OHSAS 18001 certificates can now be extended for up to six months. This means that the period for migrating accredited certifications from OHSAS 18001:2007 to ISO 45001:2018 has been extended to September 2021.

Migrating your OHSAS 18001 approval to ISO 45001 may seem overwhelming. But with a range of services on-site and online, we can help you through the migration process, by helping you understand the standard; what it means for you and your organization; and how to prepare for the audit – giving you the support you need to ease your journey towards compliance.

Training

Our ISO 45001 training courses will prepare and upskill your management system team and auditors – providing the skills needed to implement and maintain your system to meet the requirements of the new standard.

All courses are available as public courses or can be tailored to suit your organization’s needs. In addition, training can be delivered as eLearning or in a virtual classroom environment.

Gap analysis

Before migrating, you can work with an LRQA auditor to identify critical or high-risk areas of your Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSMS), alongside specific vulnerabilities.

This can either be delivered on-site or remotely and helps determine the scope of your ISO 45001 management system, giving you the flexibility to focus on areas critical to your operations.
