Migrating to ISO 45001
In response to the challenges posed by COVID-19, the International Accreditation Forum (IAF) has extended the migration deadline for ISO 45001 certification. Existing OHSAS 18001 certificates can now be extended for up to six months. This means that the period for migrating accredited certifications from OHSAS 18001:2007 to ISO 45001:2018 has been extended to September 2021.

Gap analysis
Before migrating, you can work with an LRQA auditor to identify critical or high-risk areas of your Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSMS), alongside specific vulnerabilities.
This can either be delivered on-site or remotely and helps determine the scope of your ISO 45001 management system, giving you the flexibility to focus on areas critical to your operations.
