Worldwide Responsible Accredited Production (WRAP)
Safe and lawful manufacturing practices
Ensuring production facilities operate in a safe, responsible and ethical way
Through the programme's 12 principles, WRAP certification’s main goal is to ensure that production facilities operate in a safe, responsible, and ethical way. WRAP certification demonstrates that each of your certified facilities has undergone a thorough inspection by an experienced LRQA auditor and is subject to unannounced follow-ups.
The WRAP 12 principles are based on accepted international workplace standards, local laws and workplace regulations focused on the apparel, footwear, and sewn products sectors:
- Compliance with Laws and Workplace Regulations
- Prohibition of Forced Labor
- Prohibition of Child Labor
- Prohibition of Harassment and Abuse
- Compensation and Benefits
- Hours of Work
- Prohibition of Discrimination
- Health and Safety
- Freedom of Association and Collective Bargaining
- Environment
- Customs Compliance
- Security
As an accredited WRAP monitoring firm, LRQA’s auditors are WRAP approved and all attended the WRAP qualification training.
