ISO 9001
The revision of ISO 9001 is officially under way, with the Draft International Standard expected in June 2025 and full publication anticipated in the second half of 2026. While the exact changes are still being shaped, certified organisations should expect updates that will impact how quality management systems are implemented and maintained. Being prepared now means you’ll be ready to transition smoothly when the time comes.

ISO 14001
The revision of ISO 14001 is moving fast. The Draft International Standard is expected on 20 May 2025, with the final version set to publish in January 2026, kicking off the official transition period for certified organisations. While the details are still being finalised, updates are imminent, and action will be needed. Staying informed and starting early is critical to ensuring a smooth shift to ISO 14001:2026.

ISO 45001
ISO 45001 is expected to be the last of the three standards to undergo revision. The next committee meeting is planned for May 2025, but a publication date has not yet been confirmed, though it’s likely to land sometime in 2027. While this revision is at an earlier stage, certified organisations should still stay alert. Early awareness gives you the edge when it comes to planning ahead for future updates.
