LRQA at the 2025 GFSI Conference, Dublin

LRQA is pleased to confirm its attendance at the 2025 Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) Conference, taking place from 31 March to 3 April in Dublin, Ireland.

Bringing together leading food sector brands, assurance experts and policymakers, the GFSI Conference provides an essential platform for addressing challenges and opportunities shaping the future of food safety.

During the conference, LRQA’s Supply Chain Assurance Technical Director, Kimberly Coffin, will deliver a Tech Talk exploring the continued evolution of risk in the food industry. With increasing costs driving both governmental and consumer attention, digitalisation, changing legislation and the growing need for micro-transparency across supply chains, the food sector must be prepared to break away from traditional thinking when it comes to managing food safety risk. Kimberly will share valuable insights into the trends reshaping these risks and outline what businesses can do to more effectively manage them.

Kimberly comments: “The food industry continues to face wave after wave of change presenting new and emerging risks that are signalling a need for transformation, but now more than ever, the intersection of digitalisation, new regulatory frameworks and the demand for micro-transparency is fundamentally redefining approaches to food safety risk and assurance. The GFSI Conference has consistently been a valuable platform for LRQA, providing opportunities to share insights and stay informed about the risks and trends shaping the food industry.”

Stuart Kelly, LRQA's Chief Commercial Officer, echoed this: "The GFSI Conference is a key event in the LRQA calendar. It allows us to connect with clients and prospects in ways that drive real business impact, making it an important platform for our thought leadership and brand awareness.”

In the lead-up to the conference, LRQA will publish a series of articles, podcasts and webinars featuring insights from food sector experts.
