Introduction
A three-day interactive course providing delegates with an overview of the basic concepts of ESG, how ESG links to sustainability and CSR, and the links to the ISO standards. Delegates will learn about the global initiatives and principles of ESG and the methods of reporting ESG performance.

- Clarify the sustainability concept
- Explain the three pillars of sustainability
- Understand what is meant by the United Nations Global Compact
- Explain the 10 principles of UN Global Compact and the relevant ISO standards
- Illustrate the 17 goals of the UN Global Compact – SDG’s
- Explain the environmental pillar of the ESG
- Understand what is meant by climate change and the implications
- Explain how to report climate change in ESG context
- Explain the social pillar of the ESG context, CSR and ISO 26000
- Explain the governance pillar of the ESG and ISO 37000
- Clarify what is meant ESG disclosure, ESG metrics and reporting frameworks
- Understand the main elements of GRI and SDG reporting and the due diligence concept
